Reporting to:
Regional/Divisional Sales Manager

Scope:
Reporting directly to the above the candidate would be expected to call upon Building Service Consultants, HVAC Contractors and service our Distribution network within the proposed territory, whilst actively promoting the company’s products and services in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:
1) To achieve or exceed the agreed sales targets as set out in the “Plan” document within given timeframes. Promoting and selling to specifiers, contractors and distribution covering the public & private sectors.
2) To manage on a day-to-day basis through the SLX process all customer records, live projects and any expenditure incurred.
3) To research, investigate and identify any potential new business opportunity in relation to existing and new product opportunity.
4) To liaise on a regular basis any information about Competitor activity through the management structure.
5) Each ASM needs to have a proactive approach to the requirements within the team and respond to any Sales and Marketing strategies as requested.
6) Actively participate in any Sales meeting or conference, including out of hours activity.
7) To undertake site visits and conduct accurate surveys when required.
8) Identify any new product opportunity that the company can benefit from.
9) To plan, organise and participate in any presentation to support your business activity.
10) To ensure regular update of the SDP process as and when required.
11) To ensure continual improvement, participate in the company’s annual performance appraisal.

Sales Experience & Technical Skills:
●  It is anticipated that candidates will ideally come from a similar HVAC related sales background. Strong emphasis on a desire to succeed whilst maintaining a professional approach. This will have been gained through working within and selling to Building Service Consultants, HVAC Contractors and the distribution network.
●  A thorough knowledge of the HVAC construction industry is essential, combined with business acumen and negotiating skills.
●  Knowledge of building service systems would be advantageous.
●  The candidate would be expected to be fully conversant with IT skills and documents associated with the day to day duties.

Confidentiality:
●  It is essential that the Company’s business information relating to customers and business (prospective, current and past) remains confidential.
●  The appointee would be expected to sign a confidentiality deed.

●  A key function of the post is to contribute to build, develop and promote good working relationships, combined with being a proactive change agent with various types of organisations and at senior levels both externally and internally to the Company.
●  Maintaining a professional profile is essential.

Salary/Rate:
£30,000 p.a.
