Qualifications:
Candidates must have a minimum of HNC/HND in relevant field, ideally educated to Degree level.

Experience Required:

• Good experience with automotive Power Train / EMS gasoline / diesel projects.
  
• Embedded SW design, model development & rapid prototyping techniques.
  
• Knowledge of gasoline and Diesel engine design / combustion and vehicle applications.
  

Skills Required:

• Electronic systems engineering, Robustness / FMEA, Embedded Software for EMS
  
• Clear written communication skills
  
• ETAS INCA calibration tool experience
  
• Experience with EMS software specifications, Matlab / simulink, data measurement and analysis
  
• Familiarity with GPDS, project and supplier management
  

Skills Preferred:
Candidates should have knowledge / experience of embedded software process design ISO TR 15504 (SPICE) / CMMI . Software validation processes for safety critical systems / VDA Dependability for PT systems

Additional Information:
Must be willing to travel between Client sites primarily Gaydon & Whitley

Hours:
37 hours per week
