Electrical Systems Engineer (ECU Development)

Job Status:
Contract - 9 months

Qualifications:
HND / Degree in Automotive

Position Description:
EMS Controls / Calibration Engineer.

Skills Required:

• ECU Hardware experience.
  
• ECU Testing and Development in automotive environments.
  
• Ideally EMS related.
  
• Proven record of project leadership & delivery of Major System / component to meet cost, weight & performance / attribute targets.
• Electronic systems engineering.
  
• Calibration tool experience.
  
• Excellent Supplier liaison, Communication and Management skills.
• strong understanding & application of Design quality tools (DFMEA, Robustness, etc.)
  
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and a Good Team Player.
  

Skills Preferred:

• Green Belt trained.
  
• Experience with EMS software specifications / mechanisations.
  
• Canalyser / INCA experience.
  
• Matlab / Simulink data measurement and analysis.
  
• Working knowledge of project delivery processes.
  
• GPDS, e FDVS.
  
• Working knowledge of change management processes including AIMS, WERS.
  
• Good PC skills including Microsoft Office and MSProject.
  
• Full Driving licence.
  

Experience Required:
Proven or greater experience with Automotive Powertrain / EMS gasoline / diesel projects.

Additional Information:
Must be willing to travel between Client sites primarily Gaydon & Whitley

Hours:
37 hours per week

Ltd Co Hourly Rate:
£26.60
