Qualifications:
Preferably Degree in Mechanical/Agricultural Engineering but experienced candidates with HNC/HND will be considered.

Experience:

• Ideally, you will have a strong engineering background & possess a Degree/HND in Mechanical/Agricultural Engineering or equivalent experience.
  
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment, flexibility, enthusiasm and above all a sense of urgency.
  
• Prior knowledge of construction/off highway/yellow goods and/or vehicle design will be an advantage. Candidates with Automotive BIW experience will be considered.
  
• The ideal candidates will be team players with a “hands on” approach to problem solving and experience in one or more of the following disciplines:
  

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the successful applicants will join a highly motivated team working on all aspects of cab design for our Client’s complete range of machines.

Main duties for the positions will include:

• Concept work & design studies.
  
• Design detailing, BOM compilation and drawing release.
  
• Liaise with internal/external customers/departments.
  
• Planning design activities and leading sub-project teams.
  
• Provide technical guidance to Design Engineers.
  
• Design for Manufacture and Assembly responsibility.
  
• Coordinating up front cost reduction and VA/VE exercises.
  

Hours:
39 hours per week
