Qualifications:
- HNC Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- GCSE English and Mathematics.
Experience Essential:
- Instrumentation & Controls Experience.
Experience Desirable:
- Oil and Gas Industry knowledge.
- Experience of field work and factory testing.
- Experience of Process Engineering.
Personal Skills And Experience Essential:
- Good keyboard and PC skills.
- Good telephone manner and customer interface skills.

Personal Skills and Experience Desirable:
Responsibiltiies:
- Responsible for all activities to the supply of Instrumentation & Controls specific to Gas, Liquid Fuel treatment packaged systems for the Gas, Petro-Chemicals and Power industry.
- Review of client P&ID’s to specifications to determine specific requirements.
- Preparation of company P&ID, bills of material and instrument/Valve data sheets.
- Evaluation of wiring and hook-up drawings, and preparing specifications for E&I module installations.
- Preparation and issue of Enquiry Requisitions to vendors for quotations.
- Evaluate vendor quotations for commercial and technical acceptability.
- Preparation of purchase requisitions.
- Perform engineering calculations related to instrumentation and controls that validate design decisions and cost estimates.
- Vendor document reviews and interdisciplinary document reviews.
- Performing vendor inspections when necessary.
- Whilst the job functions require a person who is self-motivated and organised, initiative and quick thinking is important too, in this primarily in-house Sales and Projects-supporting role.
Hours:
08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday.
08:30 – 16:30 Friday.
Salary/Rate:
£ Negotiable
Fringe Benefits:
25 days holiday per annum.
