Context and Purpose:
● Against a backdrop of growth and change across the organisation, this position has been created to lead quality initiatives and efficiencies across the Group internationally.
● The successful incumbent will be required to act as a change agent driving both organisational and cultural change.
● In addition they will be required to establish key performance metrics and drive continuous improvement in order to raise levels of customer satisfaction and overall profitability.
Main Accountabilities:
● Develop the strategic direction of quality practices across the business, and develop and execute strategic plans for work activities over the short/medium/long term.
● Drive cultural and organisational change across the group. Increase quality awareness and drive continuous improvement.
● Implement a Total Quality Management system across the group and drive commonality in quality processes and procedures.
● Introduce a zero defects culture across the organisation.
● Manage the internal audit program with regards to quality across the business to ensure compliance and continuous improvement of the business processes and systems.
● Support the operations and business units with regards to quality issues with an aim to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
● Lead and develop the Group Quality teams Involving both direct and indirect reports.
● Develop financial plans, manage costs, and generate appropriate KPIs to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
Essential Experience:
● Strong people manager with experience of driving organisational change and restructuring.
● Experience of acting as a change agent in driving both cultural change and change management.
● Experience of implementing a Total Quality Management system and other quality approaches.
● Working experience of autonomous work groups and working in a zero defects environment.
● Experience of operating at a Group or internationally level is desirable.
● Exceptional communicator with the ability to lead, coach and influence others to achieve results.
● Experience and knowledge of traditional quality methodology and approaches.
● Demonstrated ability to drive business improvement and cost savings.
Organigram / Additional Information:
The position reports directly to the Group Operations Director and is responsible for the management and implementation of quality internationally.
Salary:
£60,000 - £80,000
