Following the Tsunami that devastated the island of Sri Lanka on Boxing Day 2004, former ETS Consultant Val Chittenden was so moved by the plight of the people of the Galle district that she set about raising funds to help rebuild their homes.

Teaming up with Devsiri Hewavidana and his UKFG initiative Val has raised a significant amount of money, visited Galle, and has made a real difference to the lives of some of the families of Galle.
